Very suitable for middle school students!
We own several of these historical comic books and love them!
I purchased this book specifically for my students to get information on John Sutter. It is an amazingly easy way for students in 3rd-4th grade to get the facts on the California Gold Rush in an enjoyable format. However, the title led me to believe it would contain information specific to Sutter, and there was very little of that in the book. It was not helpful as a research companion, which was my intented use when I bought it.
