Love the book, has great pictures and spreads out the info as you need it. When you buy this book go to amazon and buy a pallet buster, $29.99-$50 depending on which ya get. This tool makes breaking pallets down way faster. You could break down 6-10 pallets in 10-20 minutes depending on how skilled ya get at it.

Awesome book for starting new projects

The Pallet Book is a handy DIY manual with projects that look really good and don't seem to shout out that they were recycled from reclaimed pallet wood.Author Chris Peterson teamed up with Voyageur Press to produce this 144 page softbound book, published 2 January, 2018.The book includes multiple methods of deconstructing pallets and smoothing out the resultant wood in order to reclaim as much material as possible. There are also good tips for arranging the reclaimed wood into similar widths and qualities to make selecting project materials easy and painless. I really liked the safety minded tutorials on reclamation and deconstruction. There were a lot of good tips on sourcing pallets also, along with good and sensible advice on being responsible (don't steal, ask permission, etc).The book is arranged in thematic chapters, starting with an introduction on sourcing and deconstruction, availability and safety.The second chapter includes some simple but useful and attractive yard and garden projects. Each of the chapters starts with an introductory sidebar with a table of contents (there's also a master table of contents at the beginning of the book). The yard and garden projects include planters, a bird house, a doghouse, a workbench and others. They're not all small and simple projects. There are some more challenging and larger projects including an adirondack chair (pictured on the cover), porch swing, hammock chair and chaise lounge.Third chapter includes storage and organizational projects. There's a bookshelf (cover pic), wine rack, coat rack, and others.Fourth chapter includes many furniture and decor items. I really love several of these and have started sourcing materials. I like the idea of reclaiming and upcycling materials. There's something very satisfying and making something useful and beautiful out of something potentially landfill-worthy.I'd like to comment on the general superlative quality of these projects. They emphatically do NOT look like reclaimed pallet wood. They look really good; well made and professional. There are 50 projects in all, including several in each chapter which are grouped into three quick projects.The photography is top notch. Quarto/Voyageur books have great photography along with clear and easy to follow tutorials. They've become one of my top go-to choices for woodworking, cooking and other DIY. They produce consistently high quality usable books.While I did receive an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher, I'll be buying my own physical copy of this book for my workshop.Five stars

After reading Julie’s Biography I have greater empathy for her. She is an example of how God weaves his great plan through flawed servants. I wish her well.

Julie is informative, and when read with other books , like "Saints" and the Scriptures, I find that Julie is, Spot On. I'm so thankful for her insight and willingness to share with us.

My conclusion to Julie Rowe is that she is a beautifully spirited disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her message and testimony have greatly enhanced my spiritual preparation, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to read her books.

I didn't care for the writing style or the book itself.

Julie Rowe is a false prophet. She may be a wonderful person but truth must be spoken! This book is her playing the victim card to make herself look like a persecuted messenger of the Lord. She practices energy healing and runs an energy healing business which has been condemned by prophets and apostles. She continuously provides prophecies which have failed again and again. Check out her Bryan Hyde Interview #15 on her YouTube channel and listen for yourself. She predicted NUCLEAR EXPLOSIONS to happen around Nov 2017, mass chaos for the country with strikes, failing debit card transactions country-wide, "obsidian Monday" and an imminent EQ in Utah 3 years ago. LDS need to wake up and turn to Christ and His apostles. This fear-mongering only hurts people and gives a bad image to LDS and the LDS church.

Provides a personalized perspective of Julie Rowe's life and helps to dispel many of the false rumors that have often circulated about her. I believe that Julie's experiences are real and that she has a divine mission. If that is the case, then it is certainly worth it for you to investigate and make preparations for the tribulations to come. This book is a good place to start. Whether you believe Julie's story or not, if you believe all is well in Zion and that Babylon will continue to flourish right up until the Millennial Day, then you are probably in for a rude awakening.

What kind of a "prophet" writes three books, a biography, does several radio shows, and 70+ podcasts all based on absolutely nothing. Not a single claim has come true. She must have a high opinion of herself. But as disturbing as all that is, she treats "spiritual experiences" like they're a cocktail party. No reverence (but a lot of pride and fear). She even got on the radio and described a conversation with Cain (the Biblical Cain) in the Salt Lake City airport. She'll be excommunicated from the LDS church eventually. I've heard every word Julie has said and written publicly. Clearly, she's had visionary experiences, and she's trying to do good. But she craves attention, and what she needs to face is how brilliantly the adversary has deceived her. He's playing her like a fiddle and using her to undermining the entire Tribulation preparation movement. She's the Alex Jones of prophecy, so take everything with a grain of salt. Some truths here are mixed with lies (and mental illness). I feel sorry for Julie and hope she gets well. God loves her as much as he loves all of us.

I admire the author's bravery and appreciate her willingness to share such personal accounts. This book was uplifting, interesting and impactful.
